Mark called and said all is well. They have not been able to get to an Internet Cafe so until then he will call HCC and we will update the blog. Everyone is well. They were stopped for 2 hours on the side of the road from Antiqua to Chichicasternango because of a strike. I understood Mark to say that there were policy changes made in driver license procedures so some people decided to peacefully disrupt traffic in protest of the change. He said the team played Scrabble and got to know each other better.
Today the team is on the way to their first rural clinic in Chamanchaj. Everyone shouted hello to me on the phone so all is well.
